Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the Treasury Management Officer II is responsible for identifying, selling, and promoting deposit and treasury management related services to the bank’s commercial clients. Serves as an active participant in joint calling efforts and new client acquisition initiatives while taking the lead in developing all treasury management or deposit opportunities. Creates proposals; prepares presentations to clients; and provides technical support during sales cycle and/or the implementation process. Fosters strong relationships with business partners around the organization.

Qualifications

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategies to generate new deposits and treasury customers. Meets all assigned deposit and treasury goals. Manage individual pipeline and tasks as well as support various department functions to ensure deadlines and/or expectations are

  • Manage all elements of the Deposit or Treasury Management sales cycle including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis and close of sale to exceed deposit and revenue growth goals.
  • Plan, create proposals and complete joint and independent calls on existing and prospective commercial customers to develop new business, provides sales support to all areas of the bank to promote, sell & support sophisticated bank treasury needs. Create all formal client proposals and analysis proformas to outline appropriate products and services after analyzing client cash flow and financial needs.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers to provide excellent customer service and coordination of banking products to existing clients to promote client retention and portfolio growth.
  • Manage processes including implementation of Deposit and Treasury Management products and services, pricing, client training and ongoing efficiencies. Collaborates with Treasury Implementations to ensure smooth on-boarding of new customers and services.
  • Serve as a treasury management subject matter expert at internal briefing or at client events.
  • Work in strong collaboration with treasury management team and other key partners.

Requirements:

  • College Degree in Business or a related field or 4 (four) additional years of experience required.
  • Strong of Treasury Management product knowledge and sales training.
  • 5 (five) years of relevant experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Deposits, and cross selling complex Treasury Services.
  • Solid knowledge of treasury and deposit products.
  • Strong grasp of business terminology
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office: proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferences:

  • CTP designation (Certified Treasury Professional)
