GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing mortgage loan program options that best fit our customers’ needs through assessment of short and long term goals and the borrowers’ financial position. Maintains contact with customers and clearly communicates each step throughout the loan process so that customers and referral partners are fully engaged.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generating mortgage loan sales through marketing and customer calling efforts
  • Ensure that mortgage loans meet proper standards and minimum pricing levels.
  • Performs Business Development ( Agents, Title Attorneys, Builders, Accountants, Financial Planners)
  • Communicates with clients, referral partners, operations through email or phone, in person.
  • Initiates and participates in outside sales calls, prospecting events and other industry meetings. Monitors Market conditions for current & past customers.
  • Manages loan pipeline and accurately disclose fees.
  • Monitors industry news, market changes and current events that may impact the Mortgage industry.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who can think strategically, operate independently and take accountability for the function.
  • Ability to motivate, influence and collaborate with others both internally and externally.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and prioritize your focus on most impactful activities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills when interacting with internal and external clients.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Relationships FIRST in all areas of job performance
  • NMLS registration is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required

3+ years experience in Mortgage Origination required.

CERTIFICATIONS:

NMLS Registration is required.

LOCATION:

  • Positions are available in our offices located in Montgomery County, Prince Georges County and Fairfax County.
