We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work program which allows employees to work remotely two days a week. This position has flexibility in choosing which two days, in addition to Wednesday, will be worked in the Bethesda, MD office.

Responsibilities

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst ensures complete/accurate financial, statistical and accounting records of EagleBank and Eagle Bancorp, Inc. Specifically, responsible for the quarterly generation of call reporting and other required reporting to the regulators as well as state and other local municipalities. The individual will be responsible for managing the reporting cycle and overseeing the process of ensuring accurate and timely reporting and filing. Other duties may include responding to auditor or examiner requests and documenting procedures associated with these tasks.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • College Degree with coursework in accounting and finance
  • Formal call report training
  • 5 years of similar experience working within finance group at a financial institution
  • Proficient in MS Office; advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Understanding of completing the various regulatory reports
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and familiarity with general ledger activity
  • Familiarity with the Federal Reserve and its various services that banks typically utilize
  • Familiarity with correspondent banks and their services that banks typically utilize
  • Familiarity in working with auditors/examiners and the types of information requested

PREFERRED:

  • Professional designation such as a CPA
