We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work program which allows employees to work remotely two days a week. This position has flexibility in choosing which two days, in addition to Wednesday, will be worked in the Silver Spring, MD office.

Responsibilities

The Loan Servicing Exceptions Manager is responsible for managing and clearing loan exceptions. Provides guidance and analytical support to staff, loan officers, and portfolio assistants to research, tackle, and answer questions with regards to loan documents and insurance on our imaging system. Motivate staff to strive to producing high quality customer service without compromising the department’s or Bank’s integrity.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive operational responsibilities working in loan documentation, loan servicing in commercial lending; consumer lending background a plus.
  • 3 years of experience in leadership role.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with loan document tracking systems, preferably FIS/VisionContent.
  • Knowledge of loan documentation, general ledger reconciling and loan accounting.
  • Strong customer communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
