This new position for a Legal Assistant/Assistant Corporate Secretary will assist EagleBank’s C-Suite, as well as its Corporate Secretary and Legal Department, and play a key role in supporting the Bank’s corporate governance structure. This is a great opportunity for any future lawyer, legal administrator, executive assistant or corporate secretary!

The Legal Assistant/Assistant Corporate Secretary may perform tasks such as:

  • Taking meeting minutes for the Board, Board Committees, and Management Committees-that accurately describe and effectively communicate the discussions in, and decisions made during, the meetings.
  • Supporting the Corporate Secretary, including by managing logistical issues for meetings, corresponding with directors and shareholders, and retaining and organizing the Bank’s significant organizing documents.
  • Assisting with legal research and drafting routine legal documents.
  • Managing documents and files for the C-Suite.
  • Preparing documents necessary for meetings involving directors and senior executives, such as resolutions and slide decks.
  • Scheduling appointments for senior executives.

  • Graduate of a college or university.
  • Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or executive assistant.
  • Prior experience working with senior executives of a public company.
  • Prior experience in banking or lending environment.
