We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work program which allows employees to work remotely two days a week. This position has flexibility in choosing which two days, in addition to Wednesday, will be worked in the Bethesda, MD office.
The Director of Finance establishes strategies and implements initiatives to position the Bank for strong financial health, operating efficiency and regulatory compliance. This position takes a lead role in accounting policy development, financial planning and analysis and risk/audit management within the department. SOX program and CECL process oversight are critical responsibilities.
- Accounting Degree
- CPA licensed
- Twelve years of progressive management responsibility in finance and accounting field in public accounting or a large publicly traded Bank
- Working knowledge of bank regulatory environments and reporting requirements
- Thorough understanding of accounting (ASC & GAAP) and reporting requirements
- Thorough understanding of financial systems and capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office; advanced in Excel
- Systems implementation experience
