Responsibilities

The Commercial Deposit Officer II facilitates the on-boarding of new and expansion of existing deposit relationships to the Bank. Cross-sells all Bank products & services assisting clients in meeting their banking needs.

Qualifications

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts and manages deposit and product sales for new relationship development including on-boarding (client meeting, analysis, proposal prep) and follow up for proper coding.
  • Performs weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting reviews with Relationship Manager (RM) of production reports to determine opportunities with the RM portfolio to be developed.
  • Direct calling on new and existing clientele in support of RM, to increase product penetration, satisfaction level of client and gain referral opportunities.
  • Acts as liaison to the branches in providing required information needed for deposit and product servicing.
  • Performs periodic product reviews with clients, with assistance of RM.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and support to direct reports.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of business banking operations and sales experience
  • 2 years in a similar role
  • Working knowledge about commercial banking products and services
  • Client calling and sales skills
  • Knowledge about bank procedures regarding deposit products
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
