The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $170,982.00 to $293,110.80. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.
As a division head, this position will be full-time in office at our Silver Spring, MD operation center, with frequent visits to our corporate office in Bethesda and routine visits throughout the Bank footprint.
Responsibilities
In preparation for an upcoming retirement, we are seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to ensure alignment between the organization’s needs and the human capital strategy that drives our business outcomes and financial success. Using an enterprise lens, the CHRO oversees the creation and coordination of programs and initiatives to drive engagement; maintains focus on relationship management, consultation, and streamlining processes to gain efficiencies. This leader must possess strong executive compensation skills, and an operational mindset with business acumen. The CHRO will oversee people related areas of the Bank, including attracting and retaining talent, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations, payroll, and HRIS. The CHRO should be a natural leader with strong communications skills, capable of inspiring others, guiding a talented team and a diverse workforce, all in compliance with required laws and regulations of a publicly traded company. This individual must be self-assured and direct while maintaining the utmost professional approach and an unbiased perspective. The ideal candidate will serve as the organization’s culture champion, embracing our Relationships FIRST values, accessible to the full employee population, and working closely with leaders at all levels including executive management and the Board.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- 10 years comprehensive Human Resources leadership experience
- 5 years experience in Executive Compensation experience
- 5 years in leadership role(s) in a publicly traded company
- Knowledge of Human Resource policies, laws, procedures and practices.
Negotiating and influencing skills.
Capable and confident of expressing viewpoints that are purposeful, fact-based, and solutions-driven.
Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback at all organizational levels.
A high level of business acumen that is commensurate with other executive leaders.
A history of assembling, assessing, and mentoring high-performing teams that work with purpose and passion to achieve results.
Possesses leadership presence, advanced people skills, a high level of conviction, and a professional demeanor that interacts clearly and effectively with all segments of the organization.
Strong knowledge of HRIS, ADP, and Applicant Tracking systems, and
Strong knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
