The minimum and maximum projected annualized salary for this position is: $95,191.00 to $156,479.00. Additional compensation may be possible based on experience and skills.
We understand the need to be creative and flexible when it comes to telecommuting and other alternative work arrangements. This position is eligible for our hybrid remote work and will work in the Tysons Corner, VA office four days per week.
Responsibilities
The Business Banking CRA RM – Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) and Microbusiness Segment is responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with small businesses located in LMI communities and businesses with annual revenues of less than $1 million. This role serves as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and small business owners by delivering access and business support while advancing the bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) objectives. The Relationship Manager proactively sources new business opportunities, partners with community organizations, and provides hands-on guidance to help small businesses' finance needs. Through contact with government officials and community leaders in the bank's CRA assessment area, this position will identify credit and service needs within the community and work to develop programs and set goals to meet such needs within the context of the bank's business model. Participates in examinations and communications with the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB), with respect to the Bank's compliance with consumer laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years banking and regulatory compliance, risk analytics; particularly HMDA/CRA/fair lending experience
- 4 years banking compliance, risk or audit in an escalating role will be considered in lieu of degree
- 5 years Business banking, small business lending, community banking, or a related financial services role, preferably working with businesses less than $1 Million in revenue.
- Formal regulatory compliance training from ABA, ICBA or other recognized professional organizations addressing technical knowledge of rules and regulations required
- Knowledge of commercial and retail banking policies and procedures
- Thorough knowledge of depository and lending banking regulations including CRA
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Prior knowledge of bank operating systems, commercial and residential loan origination systems, and regulatory filing software applications (eg, HMDA, CRA) strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, approachable manor
- Formal credit training
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
- Working with small business customers preferably business with less than $1 Million in revenue
