Job Description

Assist with oversight of projects in accordance with the EagleBank Project Management policy. Serve as Project Manager for Bank projects as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan and implement projects as assigned to include –
    • communicate to project stakeholders prior to the start of a new project and ensure any issues raised are adequately resolved,
    • support and direct project teams,
    • define project scope, goals and deliverables,
    • plan and lead project meetings,
    • prepare meetings minutes.
    • document and follow up on action items,
    • identify issues or risks,
    • track decisions,
    • ensure testing is documented and appropriate communication requirements are assigned,
    • create and update project timelines or plans
  • Review project submissions for thoroughness and completeness.
  • Assist and guide project managers in completing forms or preparing materials for project approval.
  • Assist in tracking projects and preparing the monthly project management report including obtaining project updates from business unit project managers.
  • Complete project evaluations and project assessments on new projects and closed projects.
  • Work with teams to evaluate projects through developing workflows and business requirements.
  • Mentor project managers in the EagleBank project governance.
  • Work multiple diverse projects simultaneously
  • Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors
  • Lead classroom training on EagleBank project governance
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, business management or finance, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience in the area of application systems support or testing, business analysis or production implementation.
  • 5 years’ experience directly managing projects of significant scale and complexity.
  • 3 years’ experience in people leadership or managing personnel
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
  • Experience working for a financial institution is preferred.
  • Proven experience writing Business Requirements and Functional Requirements on a project that was at least 6 months in length and with a Requirements gathering phase of at least 1 month.
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Project Management methodologies
  • Proven experience working with technical and business stakeholders to define business and technical requirements.
  • Proven experience coordinating and facilitating meetings between vendors, management, technical resources and business users in the development of a new process/functionality
  • Strong understanding of data, how it is stored, and how it relates to the different functional areas within the organization.
  • Knowledge of core and peripheral systems of a financial institution or financial business related company.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio a plus
  • Occasional travel within the EagleBank footprint, as required.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to Relationships FIRST in all areas of job performance.
